Founding
Northwest Baptist was started December 6th 1996. The churches founder, Kerby Campbell, responded to a call from God to leave his home in North Carolina and come to Marysville, Washington. Pastor Campbell arrived with his wife, Kelli, and son, Isaac and a burden to reach Marysville for the Lord. Pastor Campbell spent many days going from door to door inviting people to come to a independent, fundamental, Baptist church that was starting in their city. The first service was December 6, 1996 with 106 people present.
