Sunday Worship 11:00 AM

God's Word Has Been Given. We Help Reveal It.

Scripture is complete. The Bible is God's final authority. Nothing added, nothing taken away. At Northwest Baptist Church, our sermons are rooted in the King James Version, verse by verse, because the truth doesn't need our ideas. It needs our obedience.

A Church With a Heart for the Community

Northwest Baptist Church is a Bible-believing church in Marysville, Washington. We hold that the Bible is the true, authoritative Word of God, and everything we teach flows from it. We invite you to come as you are and hear what Scripture actually says.

Our mission is simple: to love God, love people, and make disciples. Every week we gather to worship together, study God's Word, and encourage one another in the faith.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16 (KJV)

The Roman Road

God has laid out a clear path to salvation through His Word in Romans. Journey with us as we explore the timeless message that transforms lives.

1

Romans 3:23

Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Every person has fallen short. No one is perfect in their own strength. This isn't about condemnation - it's about recognizing our shared human condition that makes us all need divine grace.

No one is good enough on their own - we all fall short of God's perfect standard.
Sin separates every person from God, regardless of background or effort.
Good deeds can't close the gap - only God's grace can.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:10 (KJV)
2

Romans 6:23

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Sin earns death as payment - a debt we cannot repay. But God graciously offers something more: eternal life as an unmerited gift, available only through Jesus Christ.

Sin pays a wage - death. It's what our rebellion has earned.
A wage is owed, but a gift is free - eternal life can't be bought or earned.
God doesn't owe us salvation; He gives it freely through Jesus Christ.

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

1 Corinthians 15:22 (KJV)
3

Romans 5:8

Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

The most powerful demonstration of God's love: Jesus came, not when we were perfect, but precisely when we needed His sacrifice. He gave Himself while we were still at odds with Him.

God's love isn't based on our worthiness - He loved us while we were sinners.
Christ's death is the proof of God's love, not just words.
We were at odds with God, and He made the first move toward us.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 3:16 (KJV)

Romans 10:9

Romans 10:9

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Salvation comes through simple faith - believing Jesus' resurrection and acknowledging Him as Lord. It's not about religious rituals, but trusting in Christ's victory over death.

Salvation is a heart-belief, not a religious ritual.
Confessing Jesus as Lord is the outward voice of that faith.
The resurrection is our hope - death could not hold Him.

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:10 (KJV)

Romans 10:13

Romans 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Whosoever. This is for anyone - regardless of background, past mistakes, or where you are today. God's invitation is open to everyone who simply puts their faith in Jesus.

"Everyone" includes you - no one is outside the invitation.
Calling on the Lord is a simple cry of faith, not a climb.
Your past doesn't disqualify you; His grace qualifies you.

"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Acts 2:21 (KJV)

Share Your Prayer

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Thank You for dying for my sins and rising from the dead. I believe in Your love for me. I confess You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving me through grace alone. Amen."

If you prayed that prayer, we'd love to hear from you. Email us at info@nwbaptistchurch.com or visit this Sunday.
