Northwest Baptist History
Northwest Baptist was started December 6th 1996. The churches founder, Kerby Campbell, responded to a call from God to leave his home in North Carolina and come to Marysville Washington. Pastor Campbell arrived with his wife, Kelli, and son, Issac and a burden to reach Marysville for the Lord. Pastor Campbell spent many days going from door to door inviting people to come to a independent fundamental Baptist church that was starting in their city. The first service was December 6th 1996, with 106 people present.

In 2011, God led Pastor Campbell to a new ministry , Treasured Trials. Pastor Campbell was succeeded by  Alex Muņoz as the Pastor of Northwest Baptist Church. Pastor Muņoz grew up in Pasco, Washington,  graduated from Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California. He then served on staff at Riverview Baptist Church for ten years as the youth pastor before being called to Northwest Baptist Church.
